By Aaron White Verified| KIMT-TV (Mason City, IA) Verified The National Weather Service has issued a BLIZZARD WARNING in effect for Wednesday across portions of Iowa and Minnesota. This includes the cities of Rochester, Owatonna, Austin, Albert Lea, Mason City, Osage, and Forest City. Snow is expected to fall by Wednesday morning and continue throughout the day. The snow will be heavy at times with snowfall rates of more than 1" per hour. This heavy snow combined with strong winds gusting over 50 mph will lead to possible whiteout conditions.
