In 2023, Nigeria's Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) reached ₦2.43 trillion, a 26% rise from the previous year, largely due to a 33% increase in tax revenue, which accounted for 80.3% of the total (₦1.95 trillion). Other revenue sources contributed 19.7% of the IGR, growing by 5% to ₦0.48 trillion.
