    By Adam Ziegler| Omaha World-Herald Verified ST. PAUL, Minn. — Carson McCusker hit a tiebreaking home run in the sixth inning to lead St. Paul to a 3-2 win over the Omaha Storm Chasers Wednesday. The Saints (3-5) took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth inning off a home run from Jair Camargo. The Storm Chasers (5-5) answered with two runs in the top of the sixth. Harold Castro hit an RBI double, then Nick Gordon drove in Castro with a single to tie the game. McCusker’s homer then put St. Paul ahead for good.

  • Union Omaha gives up late goal in loss to Richmond Kickers

    By Adam Ziegler| Omaha World-Herald Verified RICHMOND, Va. — Richmond scored late in the second half Wednesday to had Union Omaha a 1-0 USL League One loss. The Kickers (3-0-2) had a 3-0 edge in shots on goal in the first half, but the Owls (1-0-2) held them scores until halftime. Union Omaha’s defense held up for much of the second half, but Darwin Espinal broke through in the 82nd minute off a rebound from Emiliano Terzaghi’s cross to give Richmond the win.
