I was a pop star in the 1980s and then worked as a session musician and on the jazz scene. I’m now an academic, musician, record producer and composer. I also write about culture and lifestyle. Anything from grand opera and ballet to James Brown’s ‘funky drummer’ with informed reviews of the London restaurant scene.
