After founding Vodafone’s social media and realizing a 4-million fan base on Facebook, the 30-year-old Egyptian entrepreneur left his corporate job to start a digital news website that fulfills his passion for journalism and publishing. Ahmed Maher left Vodafone Egypt in 2014 after 9 years of corporate career experience, during which he mastered the nuts and bolts of social media and digital marketing. Started Digital Boom in 2013 hoping it would become a hub for Egyptian and regional marketers.
