The James Beard Foundation, a nonprofit culinary organization located in New York, established the awards in 1990 and has bestowed them annually since 1991, except in 2020 and 2021 when the organization scrapped them as the restaurant industry was reeling from the COVID-19 pandemic.  Restaurants apply for the awards.

Brian Fitzpatrick’s office in Langhorne to protest the massive tax cuts for the wealthy, as well as cuts to Social Security and Medicare. Speakers included Bucks County Clerk of Courts Eileen Hartnett Albillar and local grassroots leaders.

For low-income families, trying to pay someone to help file taxes can be a financial burden. Thankfully for Bucks County citizens, the BCOC has stepped in to help. Starting this week, Bucks County Opportunity Council will be starting appointments for their federal income tax assistance program.
