As the co-founder and director of Centre for Gender And Politics (CGAP), I work towards bridging the research gap on gender and electoral politics in South Asia. At CGAP, I oversee research projects, internal and external communications and, partnerships for the organisation. I mobilised over 70 volunteers from across South Asia to contribute to the cause of gender-equal politics. I am passionate about responsible politics and have worked with local governments in India in designing and implementing large-scale public programmes. An engineer turned liberal arts graduate from a small town, I attended Ashoka University on a full scholarship. I was also part of Jagriti Yatra, travelling across India on a train and meeting social entrepreneurs.
