Biography

Alabbas F. Alsudani is an Iraqi academic and political analyst. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in petroleum and energy engineering and serves as an assistant lecturer in oil and energy economics. Currently, he is a senior in the International Studies program at the American University in Baghdad.  Alsudani is also active in civil society, serving as the secretary general of Himam Students Assembly, an Iraqi non-governmental organization.  He frequently appears on television and participates in political discussions concerning Middle Eastern affairs.
