Our History In February of 1999, 24horas made media history by becoming the first Portuguese language publication to publish news content in Portugal and the United States on the same day. Benefiting from the time differential between Lisbon and New York, 24horas utilizes the latest communication technologies to continue to achieve this feat. Since its inception, 24horas adopted the tabloid format, and a modern layout and design, where big headlines and images facilitate the interpretation of the text.
