Australian police have used the Mr Big technique to put killers behind bars - but some say the method is 'inherently dangerous'

In the so-called "Mr Big" technique, covert police recruit the suspect to a fake gang and pay them to take part in an escalating series of simulated criminal activities which culminate in a meeting with the boss or "Mr Big" of the gang.
