Put simply, I love a good story. Whether it's told through writing, photography, or video, my goal in life is to inform, educate, and entertain others with my work. I'm a freelance journalist for multiple publications, mainly the Los Angeles Times (for community newspapers TimesOC and the Daily Pilot), and Orange Coast magazine. I enjoy the variety in stories and resulting adventures. As a Colorado native and recent Southern California transplant, I love being outdoors in my free time. Most weekends you'll find me running, hiking, and exploring the greater Los Angeles area. My other interests include the arts, traveling, and learning about other cultures.
