By Alison Winters, Tasfia Alam| Vanderbilt Hustler Verified Former undergraduate student Douglas Norman filed a civil lawsuit against the university in Middle Tennessee’s federal district court on March 13, alleging he was falsely arrested by Vanderbilt University Public Safety on April 16, 2024, and that officers knowingly entrapped him into this arrest. This was Norman’s second arrest by VUPS following an initial arrest on Nov. 14, 2023.
