(KLKN) – Dolly’s Legacy Animal Rescue received a special surprise. Tractor Supply Co donated five pallets of dog food to the rescue, that totaled out to more than 6,000 pounds of food. “We go through bags everyday, the food just means so much to us,” Dolly’s volunteer Lindy Mara said. Back in April, the rescue was caring for more than 80 animals. It was struggling to fill its food pantry.

  • Lincoln cardiac arrest survival rates higher than national averages

    By Allie Snow| KLKN-TV (Lincoln, NE) Verified Lincoln Fire and Rescue released its latest cardiac arrest survival statistics on Friday. LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Thanks to first responders and the community, the city of Lincoln has some of the highest cardiac arrest survival rates in the country. Lincoln Fire and Rescue released new statistics. In 2020, LFR responded to 148 non-traumatic cardiac arrest cases (cardiac arrest caused by a medical event not due to a traumatic injury).
