Kennedy Jr.'s name won’t be on ballots this year in North Carolina. Pam wrote, “[He] sued NC to get his name on the ballot. Then he sued to have it removed. How much did those lawsuits cost the [North Carolina] taxpayers?”When North Carolina’s 100 counties add up the cost to reprint millions of ballots, which finished printing in August, it will cost about $1 million to taxpayers.

In Florida, an Ohio man was bitten on the foot on July 4 while playing football in knee-deep water at New Smyrna Beach in Florida. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
