Dubbed “Back to Our Roots,” the plan initially will provide enough seed to plant a total of 33.5 acres at sites in Scott and Rock Island counties as well as one site each in Mercer County, Illinois, and Muscatine County, Iowa. The seeds cost about $20,000, Kathy Wine, executive director of River Action, said at a news conference.
