By Alton Northup| The Kent Stater@ Last month, Portage County Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski signed two agreements with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to enforce federal immigration law. The agreements, posted on the ICE website, allow deputies to interrogate any person suspected of being in the country unlawfully, process immigration violations for those arrested on state or federal charges and make warrantless arrests under some circumstances, among other things.
