Police said it all happened at around 7:30 p.m. near the 1500 block of North 18th Street. When investigators arrived on the scene, they found three men had been shot. One man was transported to Temple University Hospital where he died just after 7:40 p.m., according to police. Investigators have not released the identity of the victim who died.

Crozer-Chester Medical Center and Taylor Hospital remain open Thursday morning after the hospital’s owners, Prospect Medical Holdings, told a Texas bankruptcy judge Tuesday that it needed $9 million by Wednesday at 4 p.m. to cover payroll and keep the hospitals open for another two weeks.
