Officers were called around 12:30 p.m. to the area of Lakeshore Road West and Dorval Drive. The man was found in the water and pronounced dead at the scene. Police say it’s too early in the investigation to determine whether or not the death is suspicious. No roads in the area have been closed. This is a developing news story. More to come.
By Amanda Pope Verified| CHCH-TV (Hamilton, ON) Verified Niagara police have released video showing a pickup truck pushing another vehicle through a red light in St. Catharines in hopes of identifying the driver. It happened around 6:45 p.m. on March 23 at the intersection of Welland Avenue and Niagara Street. The surveillance video shows a beige SUV stopped at a red light before a black Ford F-150 rear-ends it and pushes it through the red light, narrowly missing other vehicles. The pickup truck then fled the scene.
