CEO Barry Barron of Dallas-based Southern Scoops LLC will lead the Texas franchise expansion of Abbott’s Frozen Custard. A recent project filing lists a planned North Texas spot at West Frontier Pkwy. and Prairie Crossing in Celina. Construction on the nearly 1,250-square-foot space is expected to kick off in late 2023 and wrap up in the spring of 2024.
