Biography
I'm a professional of traditional and digital media. I worked in printed press as a journalist for several years in the sports, economics, culture, politics and general information sources. I also have experience as a radio and tv producer, radio host and tv reporter. During a career spanning over 14 years i have worked in 1 major tv station and a regional one that was starting to broadcast nationally. I also worked in 2 radio stations. In print media I worked for 3 newspapers and one institutional magazine. I migrated to the digital media working as a digital journalist in what used to be the biggest digital newspaper in Venezuela, ranked in the first 1000 websites in the world at the time. While there, I was assigned to another website that was adquired by the parent company, but the project was dropped. Afterwards I have developed a career as a social media manager and online marketer. I also started developing wordpress websites and became a freelance english-spanish translator, blog writer and editor of my own website/media platform dedicated to geek culture and hobbies. I'm also interested in social science research, having done several studies as a student and after graduating too, even working as a thesis advisor a few times. I have some knowledge of graphic design, audio and video editing, programming and photography.
