Moyra Lord is believed to have suffered an unwitnessed fall at Northwood Care Home in Blackburn on July 5 last year. The injury went untreated for a month before she was admitted to hospital on August 4. Moyra, a retired cleaner who lived in the Accrington area before moving into the care home, died at Northwood, in Preston New Road, on Christmas Eve last year.
