It has been joined by two others that are attached to the complex on Lawler Center Drive. "It's been an exciting journey," wrote Ignacio Wence of 1933 Kitchen and Bar. "We’ve faced challenges, but overall, it’s been a rewarding experience. We've built a supportive community and gained a loyal customer base."Many customers learn about the eatery through word-of-mouth.

He retired in 2017 and added "Music Man" to his moniker. A variety of downtown Vacaville businesses are sponsoring Town Square Music Thursdays, which kicks off this week with Casualties of Friendship. Vollmer plays in the band that was born when a group backed out of a downtown Vacaville performance at the last minute.
