Metropolitan Nashville Police say the suspect, 54-year-old Candido Raul Rubio-Perez, was waiting outside Chadwell Elementary School when 52-year-old Niurka Alfonso-Acevedo arrived at work early Monday morning, The Charlotte Observer reports. Rubio-Perez allegedly ambushed Alfonso-Acevedo before fleeing the scene.

Dallas and Dallas ISD police responded to the campus around 1 p.m., WFAA reports. All of the male victims, ages 15 to 18, were taken to local hospitals. Three suffered gunshot wounds and one suffer a “musculoskeletal injury to the lower body,” according to Dallas Fire-Rescue (DFR) spokesperson Jason Evans.
