The proposed change would shift the zoning from Neighborhood Residential (UR 3) to Urban Residential (UR 1) to allow the construction of 78 single-family homes. Grayway Developers, LLC submitted the request as an official zoning map amendment.
By Ana Sofia Roman| WRDE-TV (Lewes, DE) Verified GEORGETOWN, Del. - The Georgetown Town Council has approved a waiver request from the town and the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce to allow food trucks on East Market Street at Cherry Lane for "Food Truck Tuesday" during the summer. Food trucks will be allowed on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month from May through August 2025, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The specific dates are: May 13, May 27, June 10, June 24, July 8, July 22, Aug. 12, and Aug. 26.
