Biography
I'm a British-Italian journalist and writer born in Milan, raised as a young child in Ireland, and now residing just outside London, where I've lived since 2005. In 2018, I completed my BA in Theology and Religion from the University of Oxford, and in 2020 graduated with an MPhil (Master's) in International Relations and Politics at the University of Cambridge. I'm currrently a freelancer, with articles published in TIME, The Independent, i, The Times, Euronews, Focus, Metro.co.uk, Politics.co.uk, and various editions of HuffPost. Two of my articles featured on PoliticsHome's 'must-read' daily lists, and in February 2019, I co-reported the scoop on Tate's refusal to take further funds from the Sackler family amid the opioid epidemic for The Times. My main aspiration and driving motivation as a journalist is to give a platform to people whose voices have been ignored, and to call out under-reported injustices around the world. Alongside my writing, I am also keenly involved as an activist, being a member of 'In Limbo', a non-profit group which collects post-Brexit referendum testimonies from EU citizens living in the UK and Brits in Europe. These stories have been collected in two anthology books which we presented at the European Parliament in October 2018.
