Derbyshire Community Tennis Inc. is a local non-profit that is providing free tennis lessons for boys and girls ages 6 to 18 years old. The lessons take place in Daytona Beach on Tuesdays at Derbyshire Park, located at 849 Derbyshire Road, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.During the eight-week course, kids learn the fundamentals of tennis.

Her funeral service was held at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church in Daytona. She passed away on March 15. During the board’s spring bazaar on Saturday, April 12, which raises funds for Bethune-Cookman University students, donations will be taken on be-half of Mrs. Hardeman as an honor to her. That event occurs from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Center for Civic Engagement on B-CU’s campus.
