  • Musings on an endless cycle

By Andrew Kornblatt| Medium@ When I was 15 I got to go to Israel for a month. My first trip. It was beautiful and wonderful and I met so many amazing people. I met Kibbutnics trying to live a small-scale agrarian socialist lifestyle. I met Druz who shared tea and thoughts with us. I dined with Bedouins in their gorgeous tents in the desert and with Palestinians who shared amazingly sweet date dishes. I also saw ugliness. I had rocks thrown at me by both ultra-religious Jews and Palestinian men.
