Austin State University is hosting its annual Fabulous Fall Festival Plant Sale in October. According to a release, the plant sale will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Oct. 12 at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center. SFA said that the sale will feature “hard to find ‘Texas-tough’ plants” including trees like Japanese maples, red buds, bald cypress and more. The university said that a full list of the available plants is available on the SFA Gardens website.

Joe Neguse (D-Colo.). Neguse’s district has seen several wildfires, and he’s fought for pay increases for federal firefighters.
