First, our beloved Mountaineers were snubbed by the NCAA Tournament selection committee when WVU was left out of the field of 68 teams in favor of the North Carolina Tar Heels, who had a less-than-stellar season. Fortunately for the Tar Heels, their athletic director, Bubba Cunningham, served as the chair of the selection committee. Ironically, he also receives a substantial bonus of $75,000 if the Tar Heels make the tournament.
