The champion lamb was the first prize winner from the singles class, a 48kg Beltex from Claire Tomlinson, Agden. It went on to sell for 620p/kg (£297.60/head) to Scott Shepley of Shepleys Butchers, Market Drayton. Mrs Tomlinson also sold 39kg lambs at 548p/kg (£213.72/head), 34kg lambs at 530p/kg (£180.20/head) and 40kg lambs at 528p/kg (£211/head). A large entry of hoggs averaged 338p/kg.
