By Anita Writes| Medium@ Have you ever been overlooked for a promotion? I have. Quite a few times actually. The first couple of times, I grabbed my credit card and treated myself to a vacation. First time I explored the San Francisco wine country. Second time I went all out and experienced the debauchery of Vegas. Both times, it was awesome. Both times, the company felt that the "much-needed skillset" would be much better sourced externally. So, I indulged them and myself.
