Biography

As a journalist and researcher, I specialise in animal welfare, livestock farming, biodiversity and wildlife. My work has been featured in leading media such as Belga, Apache, Knack, Follow the Money, De Groene Amsterdammer, EOS Wetenschap and MO*. I've had the honour of receiving support from organisations such as Arena for Journalism in Europe, Journalismfund.eu, IJ4EU, Free Press Unlimited, Fonds Pascal Decroos and deBuren. I am also a Climate Arena Fellow (2023) and a participant in the European Collaborative Journalism Programme (2024). Academically, I have an MSc in Animal Welfare Science, Ethics and Law from the University of Winchester and am currently doing an MSc in Biodiversity, Wildlife and Ecosystem Health at the University of Edinburgh. I've published two academic papers focusing on animal welfare, biodiversity and national policy (see publications). I'm available as a collaborator, speaker, facilitator, mentor and project manager. Please get in touch if you're looking to collaborate or have any queries.
