Ajayi scored 6.5 points per game and pulled down 5.4 rebounds per game this season. He shot 44.6% from the field and 18.2% from three. In the 2023-24 season, Ajayi scored 17.2 points per game at Pepperdine, which led the West Coast Conference. He shot 47.0% from three that season and was second in the conference in rebounding, with 9.9 per game.

Colts owner Jim Irsay pledged a $275,000 donation to the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center if Chuck Pagano could make a layup. Pagano was successful, high fiving former Colts star Edgerrin James after the made layup. A video of the shot can be seen above. The Chuckstrong initiative has raised over $15 million for cancer research. “It’s humbling. It’s just incredible,” Pagano said.
