  • Port of Los Angeles surpasses 2.5 million TEUs in first quarter

    By Antonis Karamalegkos Verified| Container News Verified The Port of Los Angeles handled 778,406 TEUs in March, translating to a 4.7% growth compared with the same month in 2024, ending the first quarter with 2,504,049 TEUs, 5.2% ahead of last year’s strong pace. “Our volume remained strong throughout the first quarter, and we’ve now seen year-over year growth in 18 of the last 20 months,” pointed out Port of Los Angeles Executive Director Gene Seroka.
