CitrusTV is Syracuse University’s student-run television studio, established in 1970. Originally known as Synapse, it has undergone several name changes, becoming UUTV in 1977, HillTV in 2004, and finally rebranding to CitrusTV in 2006. With a membership of over 300 students, it is one of the largest student organizations at Syracuse University, serving both undergraduate and graduate students. CitrusTV produces a variety of content, including news, sports, and entertainment. It covers local and campus news, reports on SU athletics, and creates entertainment programming such as *Unpeeled*, which focuses on pop culture and community highlights. The organization also reports on campus events and initiatives in the Syracuse area. CitrusTV's content is distributed through online platforms and broadcast channels, reaching a wide audience that includes students, faculty, and the local community. As a student-run entity, it provides valuable hands-on experience in production and reporting for its members.
