Biography

As a sports journalist based in Lyon, France, I have a keen interest in women's sports. My involvement with football spans several years, starting from playing and later coaching in Lebanon. In pursuit of further knowledge, I made the decision to move to France in 2021 to embark on a PhD thesis focused on understanding the socialization of young female footballers and how it shapes their careers. To complement my academic pursuits, I launched a podcast titled "The Super Subs – Women’s Sports". Through this platform, I host various guests, including players, coaches, fans, journalists, and media experts, to delve into this complex yet fascinating world of women's sports. Given my extensive experience and direct engagement in women's football as part of my PhD qualifications, I believe I am in a credible position to provide coverage of major events in this realm.
