The DC Reid Poetry Prize will recognize exceptional books of poetry by writers who live in Capital Regional District (CRD). Winners of the award will receive a $5,000 prize. The new prize will be juried alongside the City of Victoria Butler Book Prize for fiction and nonfiction (which up until this point also included poetry) and City of Victoria Children’s Book Prize.
