Detective Sergeant Pieter Serfontein said two offenders arrived at the property about 8.30pm.

It’s nearly four months since Laila Babu lost her son to the sea after he went fishing off the coast of Northland, a feeling she says is “indescribable” as the fisherman remains missing. On May 1, her son Ferzil Babu, 34, and his friend Sarath Kumar, 37, went fishing at Taiharuru at a spot known as The Gap. After the pair failed to contact their families by 11pm, emergency services conducted a search and rescue operation.
