Hi there, I am Azra an independent multimedia journalist from Delhi, India. I am currently pursuing Masters in Journalism from AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi. A history graduate from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi, my interest lies in environment, history, culture, society, education and heritage. As a child stories from around the world intrigued me, to think beyond my imagination but little do I know that my words could also reach people. I mostly cover human interest stories with a special interest in environment, climate change, education, heritage and minorities' issues. Presently working as a freelance journalist, my work has been published by media organisations like Al-Jazeera, The Indian Express, Maktoob Media, The Citizen and others. I am open to collaborating with other journalists on multimedia projects.
