The win bumps the CHS boys up to 8-1-1 overall and 5-1 in the district. “We have a lot of injuries, but I’m proud of the boys for stepping up, keeping their heads for the most part and playing the way they did,” CHS head coach Bralen Clouse said.

The loss drops the UHS girls to 2-14-1 overall and 2-4 in the district. The game started out as a tightly-contested battle when SMHS scored one run in the top half of the first, second and third innings, but the Lady Bees responded with two runs in the bottom of the fourth for a 3-2 deficit.
