We spoke by phone with Brenda McNeill, Administrator for the Oscoda-Wurtsmith Airport Authority. She tells us Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) officials visited the airport in mid-September. They toured the 2,200 acre property to see if their space and facilities would be adequate for FEMA to store vehicles and supplies.
