Biography
I am a London-based writer, digital storyteller and fashion editor originally from Puglia, Italy. One of my main goals as a writer is to promote slow fashion and help emerging designers and ethical brands connect and engage with young consumers. After researching and reflecting on how dress can shape an individual’s personal and social identity, I created a platform for brands that I am personally interested in, and organised in-person and online events to try and rekindle fashion’s connection to creativity, self-expression and self-discovery. I truly believe that through creativity and storytelling new knowledge and awareness can be generated, creating opportunities for people to reflect on how clothes feel on them, rather than just how they look, whilst forming deeper and more genuine connections with brands and fellow humans.

By Benedetta Mancusi| The Upcoming Verified With a crowd already fired up by two incredible opening acts – shout-out to Scottish folk-punk rascals Brògeal for the injection of adrenaline – The Lathums take to the stage right on time. There’s thick anticipation in the air, but nothing quite prepares the loyal fans for what’s to come: a full immersion into the Wigan band’s soundscape, which blends their knack for heartfelt, intimate lyricism with warm indie rock instrumentation and Alex Moore’s impressive, goosebump-inducing vocals.
By Benedetta Mancusi| The Upcoming Verified Like the best group of friends, Glasgow indie veterans Franz Ferdinand come on stage looking like they’re all heading to or coming from a different occasion: from a corporate meeting in Canary Wharf to a night out in Soho. The band’s storytelling, with its trademark youthful defiance and humour, takes us back to their early 2000s heyday, back when Take Me Out made its debut on MTV, a core memory for this writer and many others. But – much to their credit – it never feels forced or dated.
