Bethanie is currently pursuing her M.A. in English at Claremont Graduate University. Her research is focused on the literary and historical accounts of women in combat. She served during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Bethanie has a wide range of professional work experience, which includes: being an executive assistant for the founder of a non-profit vegan restaurant in NYC, a legal assistant for lawyers who specialize in entertainment litigation, contracts, and intellectual property law, and an administrative assistant for a highly successful interior designer. She is passionate about human and civil rights, military, and organizational accountability stories. She lives with her two dogs just outside of Camp Pendleton, California.
