My favorite cartoon character was introduced in “A Wild Hare.” Elmer Fudd was also featured in this short that lasted approximately eight minutes. After the lisping Fudd lets us know he is hunting “wabbits” we hear for the first time, “What’s up, Doc?”Bugs is the man. He’s likely the greatest baseball player I’ve seen, too. I’d say he’s 10 to 15 percent better than Mr. Ed and Herman Munster. “Assclown” has long been a favorite.
