By Bill Glazier| southpasadenan.com@ Two of the city’s strongest supporters will take center stage August 14, as the Senior Citizens’ Foundation of South Pasadena will honor the pair with their distinguished Senior Champion Awards. Ellen Daigle and Sally Kilby, whose civic-minded duties and volunteerism are extraordinary, say organizers, will be celebrated during the 5-7 p.m. public event at the South Pasadena Senior Center. Tickets, including a wine and cheese reception, are $26 each.
