Then-17-year-old Jeremiah Brogden was looking forward to playing on the Mervo High School football team for its season opener on a Saturday last September when he was shot and killed shortly after school dismissed for the week on Friday. Police made a quick arrest and now 18-year-old Nizah Daniels has been convicted of first-degree murder.

The temporary restraining order was in effect last week when the Maryland Public Service Commission ordered BGE to give its customers the option of whether they want an outside gas regulator or one installed inside their homes.
