However, anyone who thinks it would be a good idea to have lifeguards, of any age, crossing Seawall Boulevard a few times a day on foot must be living in a cave. Because, if they ever get out and about they would know that many Galveston drivers, be they residents or tourists, have no respect for traffic laws. Stop signs and red lights are a minor nuisance to them best to be ignored.
