I am a seasoned journalist with more than 35 years of experience in both full-time, part-time, and freelance writing. I cover mostly features about music/musicians, books/authors, film, entertainment, and general interview features. Since 1997 I have primarily written for the Houston Press and since 2022 for CultureMap Houston. Also had stories in the Houston Chronicle, Village Voice, Classic Rock Revisited, Outsmart magazine, Inside Houston, the Conroe Courier, Texas Music magazine, and others.
