Santiago 2023 is the organizing entity for the XIX Pan American Games and VII Parapan American Games, established through a partnership between Chile’s National Institute of Sports and the Chilean Olympic Committee. The corporation is responsible for planning, financing, and executing these multi-sport events, which will take place from October 20 to November 5 for the Pan American Games and from November 17 to 26 for the Parapan American Games. This marks the first time Chile has hosted the Pan American Games, with a focus on promoting sports development and regional unity. The organization manages logistics for 33 Olympic sports and 18 Parapan American sports, involving over 7,000 athletes from 41 countries and 2,200 athletes from 33 countries, respectively. Santiago 2023 also emphasizes transparency through its Transparency Portal, providing public access to financial and operational data. Additionally, it has launched the official mascot, Fiu, and the slogan “Follow Your Passion†to represent the spirit of the Games.
