The last day for operations on Whistler Mountain, and for the Peak 2 Peak Gondola, is April 21. As of April 22, spring skiing is available on Blackcomb Mountain only. "Please note that there are variable snow conditions at all elevations," Whistler Blackcomb said in its April 10 operations update.

Zero Ceiling, the Whistler-based organization dedicated to ending youth homelessness, is hosting a fundraiser on April 17 at Hunter Gather, with all proceeds going towards supporting Zero Ceiling programming. From 6 to 9 p.m. on April 17, $1 from every meal or drink purchased (eat-in or take-out) will be donated to Zero Ceiling. Attendees can win a two-night stay at the Journeyman Lodge along with other prizes and adventures.
